Arriving at Underwater World at Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast...and knowing that tourist shops can take a real bite out of your holiday budget, we were happy to see one shop that was at least honest about it. Though this great white may be biting off more than he can chew here. |
| Here is the best attraction that I saw on the whole trip. I never could resist taking a picture of something really lovely and Glenys was always happy to oblige me. Here she is in the mall that surrounds Underwater World with a the park's mascot. I do have to agree with him in saying that Glenys deserves a "thumbs up". |
| There were many interesting exhibits at underwater world, and we were very impressed with the tropical reef one. The colors in the coral were lovely and the varieties of fish were amazing. One of the things that impressed me was just how vivid the colors of the wildlife was. And there was no better place to see all the wonder of what was to be seen than here. |
| This pic can shows you just how big a shark can be..this is a cast of one of the largest set of jaws ever found and Rick doesn't even look like a small bite for him..more like something that would get caught between his teeth..I wonder what it uses for a toothpick. |
