Welcome to Wattle's and Bumbler's Holiday Pictures,
The Return of Glenys

Can an Aussie survive a New England winter??

Glenys has never seen snow before so it was a must that her next trip to the states would be in Winter. And of course making a snowman was one of the first things she wanted to do, so our Frosty came into being and stood guard over our house the whole time she was here. It was her first real taste of what you can do with snow and what snow can do to you. He did eventually get arms and he actually lasted quite a while.
One of the pass times that always accompanies winter is the art of sliding in the snow. We will use just about anything that will slip along it to get a thrill. In this case a small round "Flying saucer" is being put through it's paces. The hill here is not that long and in just a few passes we have managed to pack down a good trail. Being the expert, I got the path ready for Glenys to give it a try. She thought it looked simple enough and couldn't wait her turn.
"Ummmm..am I suppose to spin around like this????"
"Guess not"
