Here we are with one of our long time friends, Sarah. Sarah's parents, her brother and sister, a number of cats and a very friendly golden retriever were also there to meet us in the woods of south central Ontario. We had a very lovely visit and were really made to feel at home. We really did feel like one of the family sitting in the parlor chatting. Thank you Sarah and family for the wonderful hospitality!! |

Here's Wattle with some other long time internet friends, Dave and Darlene. It has to be said that Ontarians are among the friendliest people on earth. When we got to the home of these lovely people we really felt like we had met our long lost brother and sister. We spent most of the night laughing and joking and having a wonderful time with these two very special people. |

And here's bumbler with the Dave and Darlene too. We were very excited about meeting some people who had become close friends on the internet. Thank you Sarah and Dave and Darlene for making us feel so welcome. Our trip to Canada is a very special memory for us because of you. |

We decided to put on a traditional aussie bbq for Bumbler's family. We had a great time preparing Pavlovas, meat pies and sausage rolls as well as the usual barbie foods such as steaks and snags. Everyone had a wonderful time. Here Wattle is pictured with Bumbler, his dad, George, sister Diane, her partner Rob and Diane's son James. Wattle would also like to add that she was thrilled to be treated as part of such a wonderful family. |
